Development Manager - Exit Strategy

Joshua Robert Recruitment is proud to be working in exclusive partnership with a client-side property developer, investor and asset management organisation based in the West Midlands. The organisation has a mixed portfolio across residential sectors, spanning the UK.

Due to significant growth, the business is now seeking to add a Development Manager to join them. The role will sit within the senior leadership of the business working alongside the COO and CEO and will have a clear objective of leading on devising exit strategy for existing and future schemes. The role will work with the Development Director who is focused on acquisition. You’ll define the strategy that delivers on the long term objectives of the business whilst playing an active role in developing and supporting projects and the co-ordination of teams and outsourced multi-disciplined consultants. You’ll consistently seek opportunities to develop the estate and identify new opportunities whilst improving processes and systems. 

To be considered, you’ll need to be an experienced Development Manager / Director with a proven track record of delivery and an excellent network. The client is looking to work with individuals who have experience of residential, care or student sectors only. It is critically important that you have an excellent network and are able to deliver exit deals through your own network.

You will possess exceptional technical, management and financial skills and a proven track record of adding significant value.  Ideally you will be a member of a professional body such as RICS.
