Managing Estimator


We are representing a regional Developer & Contractor who contract and build their own luxury retirement apartments, residential and commercial schemes.
They have enjoyed exponential growth over the past 5 years attributed to diversification and acquiring their own land and delivering some key projects for international developers and building a strong lucrative working relationship.
There schemes are typically around £15 - £25 mil, high end luxury apartment schemes for multinational developers and investors or for themselves.
They are expanding their Commercial team and dividing it in to Pre & Post contract, due to this they are now seeking a Pre Contract Commercial Manager, somebody to submit and take a lead on tendering their works but also utilising that knowledge to manage any sub-contract packages over a £1000,000.
Duties

- Take a lead on all pre contract activity across the business
- Implement work winning “angles” highlighting the business key USP`s
- Preparation of tender submission
- Research technologies / project background
- Price all tenders
- Drive development of value engineering / innovation
- Stakeholder engagement / subcontractors developing early relationships
- Response to PQQ`s
- Autonomy over high value tenders, coordinating team

 
This is a great opportunity for a Senior Estimator to move in to a Commercial lead role and develop a pre-contract team and pave the way for themselves as a future Commercial Director of this progressive and growing business.
You will need Pre-Contract experience on schemes over £15 mil in value, and have proven longevity with previous employers.
